A cold-blooded assassin never looked so damn good. And that’s because she’s Zoe Saldana — a hitwoman by trade and murderess of those responsible for her parents death at night. The new 2:20 trailer for Colombiana shows a lot of promise (which should be no surprise as Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen, the brainiacs behind Taken, the Transporter series, The Professional and La Femme Nikita, penned the characters and script) even though it looks to follow the simple action script forumla.
Colombiana stars Zoe Saldana, cheap five fingers shoes , Michael Vartan, Callum Blue, Cliff Curtis and Amandla Stenberg.In the action film Colombiana, Zoe Saldana plays Cataleya, a young woman who has grown up to be an assassin after witnessing the murder of her parents as a child. Turning herself into a professional killer and working for her uncle, she remains focused on her ultimate goal: to hunt down and get revenge on the mobster responsible for her parents’ deaths.
Trailer starts with a cop who is moving towards his car and as he sit in the car beside his partner to eat the food and drink tasty beverage a wreck less car hits the cop car – bOOm. Then excitement begins after an immediate arrest of a girl whose parents were killed in front of her eyes when she was nine years old. Sound effects are the main element of trailer that makes it more excited in every upcoming second. Background music and the scenes are combined perfectly that binds the viewer to trailer. We give it 4.7/5.

Jean-Luc Godard’s famous remark that all you need to make a movie is “a girl and a gun” doesn’t quite hold water for Luc Besson. He is reunited with his family who immediately have their suspicions regarding his story. His mother (Ellen Barkin) and half brother Brendan (Nick Stahl) do not seem to accept him, and many questions are open regarding whether this man could in fact be their lost family member, considering he does not look anything like the boy who left and now talks with a French accent. His sister Kathy (Emilie de Ravin) accepts his story without hesitation and eventually so does his possible mother.

Writer Michelle Ashford (“The Pacific“) has been hired to pen a new pilot based on the 2006 documentary of the same name. Focus is on the rise of cocaine trafficking in Miami in the 1970′s and 1980′s.

While Lindsay Lohans legal problems roll on, word on the street is that the actress is still interested in, uh, acting.Gossip website TMZ claim that Lohan has been offered the lead role in a biopic about murdered actress Sharon Tate, who was killed by the followers of occultist Charles Manson.Lohan has apparently been offered the role, but shes yet to come to a decision over it.Tate was the late wife of director Roman Polanski, who was murdered in 1969 while pregnant with the filmmakers child.TMZ also state that photographer Tyler Shields will direct and star in the film as Manson.Pure internet gossip? Or is there a grain of truth to it? Guess well have to wait to find out.
